Went with these because my joists gave me barely any clearance, and that shallow 36mm mounting depth saved the whole install. The sound is surprisingly full and even, way better than I expected from something this slim sitting in a ceiling.

I was worried nothing would fit above the beams in our old house, but these slid right in with room to spare. The Uni-Q driver throws sound way wider than I expected, so the whole kitchen gets even coverage from just two speakers.

Our ceiling cavity is barely 35mm deep, so these were one of the few options that actually fit without any drywall work. The Uni-Q array delivers clear, balanced sound even from such a shallow mount, and they disappeared into the room visually. Exactly what we needed for a tight retrofit.
